RP SERVICES FUSE DEPOSITION MODELLING (FDM) builds models layer by layer by extruding a plastic filament through a heated tip. As the model is built the layers fuse and harden resulting in a very functional prototype. Materials range from ABS material which has a very general application to PC/ABS and PC (Polycarbonate) which are notably stronger and more versatile.
VACUUM CASTING is a low volume production technique which involves casting polyurethane resins under vacuum into a silicone rubber mould. Production quality mouldings are achievable in a range of colours including clear and tinted. COMPUTER NUMERAL CONTROL (CNC) machining is a Subtractive technology used for machining prototypes out of a block of material or to post-machine existing components to achieve a desired accuracy or finish. It is also highly suitable for tools for low-volume production injection moulding. SILICONE MOULDING is a method for producing silicone components from either rigid “male” moulds or a soft “female” mould. This method allows production of a range of harness’s as well as food grade options. It is an excellent option for low volume production runs. Download: One.61 Material Datasheet
